Bitfinex Enables Deposits and Withdrawals for Tether USD (USDt) on Kaia (KAIA)

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can deposit and withdraw Tether USD (USDt) using the Kaia (KAIA) transport layer, effective 16:30 PM UTC on 08/05/2025. 

This new feature follows the integration of USDt onto Kaia, a layer-1 blockchain ecosystem designed to integrate Web3 seamlessly into everyday applications across Asia.

Following this latest integration, Bitfinex customers are now able to deposit USDt across 20 blockchains and withdraw USDt across 15 blockchains*. This includes Algorand, Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash's Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP), Ethereum, EOS, Liquid Network, Omni, Polygon, Polygon zkEVM, Tezos, Tron, Solana, Polkadot, Kusama, the Near Network, Kava, Celo, The Open Network, Aptos and now Kaia. 

*Deposits of USDt on Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, EOS, Algorand and Omni Layer blockchains have been extended until 01/09/2025. See the full announcement here.

The KAIA token is also available to trade on Bitfinex against USD and USDt.

In line with our commitment to deliver the best trading experience, we will delist the following tokens: Blast (BLAST), CHEX (CHEX), The Graph (GRT), Hamster Kombat (HMSTR), Kamino (KMNO), Notcoin (NOT), Scroll (UI: SCR, API: SCROLL), Turbo (TURBO), Velar (VELAR) and Tap (XTP).

This decision has been made as a result of our continued monitoring of all listed projects and a review of their listing qualifications. 

Deposits and trading for BLAST, CHEX, GRT, HMSTR, KMNO, NOT, SCR, TURBO, VELAR and XTP will be closed on 15/05/2025 at 10:00 AM UTC. Any deposit sent after this deposit closure time may be lost and unrecoverable. 

We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders for the above tokens before 10:00 AM UTC on 15/05/2025. All remaining open orders will be cancelled by the system.

Withdrawals for BLAST, CHEX, GRT, HMSTR, KMNO, NOT, SCR, TURBO, VELAR and XTP will remain open until 15/07/2025 at 10:00 AM UTC. We recommend our customers withdraw these tokens as soon as possible.

Should you fail to withdraw the funds before the date and time specified above and wish to withdraw them thereafter, your case will be subject to Bitfinex's Delisted Token Recovery Policy. A recovery fee may be applied. Please note that token recovery can only be attempted for up to two months following the closure of the withdrawal.
