Bitfinex to Support Bitget (BGB) Token Swap

We’re pleased to announce that Bitfinex will support the upcoming Bitget Token (BGB) token swap, which Bitget announced today, and is expected to take place on 02/07/2024.

Bitfinex halted deposits, withdrawals and trading of the BGB token on 01/07/2024 at 11:00 AM UTC. Bitfinex intends to replace the balances of the old BGB token on the Bitfinex platform with the new token on a 1 to 1 basis. Customers are not required to take any action at this time.

All BGB active orders on Bitfinex will remain active, and customers will be free to cancel them at any point. Bitfinex will make further announcements regarding whether and when the reopening of trading, deposits and withdrawals of the new BGB token will take place.

Customers are advised not to deposit new BGB tokens until the migration has been completed. Please note that the old BGB token will no longer be supported on our platform.
