PANews July 27 news, according to Jinshi reports, people familiar with the matter disclosed that the $40 billion bridge loan raised by SoftBank Group for its investment in OpenAI attracted 21 new lenders during the broader syndication phase. The sources said these new lenders collectively obtained a share of about $7 billion of the loan amount. Among them, First Abu Dhabi Bank, GIC, and Standard Chartered Bank each subscribed to nearly $1 billion. The remaining funds were allocated to some banks in Europe, Japan, and the Taiwan region of China. The sources said the remaining $33 billion of the bridge loan is currently still held by underwriters and senior lenders, but may be further syndicated in the future.
